WEBSITES:
Note that the first column is a list of association names. By clicking on any one of the names, the association's website
will display in a new window. Close that window and you will return to the Association List.
CLICK COLUMN HEADERS TO SORT:
Clicking on the text in the yellow squares sorts a column. Each successive click of a given column resorts it alternating
between ascending order and descending order. When all column headers are yellow (the default sort) the associations are sorted from A to Z.
When a given column header is green it is in descending order and red indicates ascending order for that column.
SEARCHING QUICKLY:
"Ctrl-F" which means hold down and hold the control key (labelled "CTRL") and press the "F" key. This will cause a search box to appear. Type in
a word or two or even part of a word. For example, if you are searching for the National Association of Social Workers, then put the word "Social" in the
search box and press "Find Next". If you don't find it on the first press, keep pressing "Find Next" until you find it or have come to the bottom of the list.
ADDING INFORMATION:
The large column that is second from the right is one to which you can add information. Just click on the text in that column associated with an association
for which you know helpful information, type or paste in the information and click submit to save it. The information may be something that you know that, such as
available information about jobs at that association. Upon adding information the date in the right most column will indicate when the update was made. You can
use that sorting feature to view the latest additions of informations. Only helpful information will be allowed to remain on the website. If you see anything that is inaccurate or
inappropriate, you can remove or correct it. One of the key objectives of this list is to help people in their job searches.
